About

Kaileen Powers is driven by a desire to create.  From product development, to metal smithing, to painting, to graphic design - the core desire is always to create beautiful things that echo memories, sights, feelings, and ideas that flow through her world.  Whatever the medium, her work is always deeply rooted in concept and inspired by bold, highly saturated color.

Kaileen has worked to create murals for institutions like the Museum of Science, Boston, and has developed product for the Bradford Exchange for over two years.  She was classically trained in the arts at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, MA where she received her BFA double major in painting and art history.  Kaileen continues to take classes in everything from digital design to metal smithing to learn new skills and mediums from which to work and express her ideas.  She was born and raised in the Boston area and currently lives in Chicago following her desire to explore the world and experience new things.
